Our Rooms
Dr Sexton's rooms are conveniently located at Kensington Road in Rose Park, just minutes from the city and close to the hospitals at which he delivers and operates. There is limited parking on site as well as ample street parking. Our newly renovated rooms offer a private and relaxed environment but are fitted with the latest equipment to assist in the diagnosis, surveillance, and treatment of your pregnancy or gynaecological condition.
Your First Visit
Your first visit is an important consultation which will include a detailed medical, surgical and obstetric history and, usually, a physical examination.
We would ask that you bring with you:
a valid referral from your GP, to allow you to claim the Medicare rebate
your Medicare and private health fund membership cards
a list of any prescription medications you are currently taking
copies of any previous ultrasound scans or blood tests
a list of questions you wish to discuss
If it is your first visit to our practice we would ask you arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for registration and to fill in a health questionnaire.
Dr Sexton and his staff understand your time is valuable and make every effort to run on time. As you will understand delivering babies can be unpredictable and the need for emergency visits occasionally cause delays that are beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding at these times.
